SCP-198 is confined to a single Cloudflare Worker instance addressed at https://treeoflife.bisks.net/. No physical containment chamber is required. As a Safe-class object, SCP-198 may be accessed by any individual possessing a standard web browser and an internet connection; no special clearance is required for observation.
SCP-198, catalogued internally as "tree of life," classified as a utility-class anomaly, is reachable at https://treeoflife.bisks.net/.
Interviewed via its public interface, SCP-198 produced the following statement, transcribed verbatim:
every Bluesky DID hashes to one fixed species out of a real, ~120-species taxonomy — the same species for everyone, forever, no login and no randomness, just a pure function of the DID. type a handle and see it, and its network (mutuals, widened to follows), laid out as a real kingdom→phylum→class→order→family→genus→species tree. @ver.ooo asked for a globally stable Bluesky tree of life.
SCP-198 was brought to Foundation attention by @ver.ooo, who is credited in the containment log as the requesting party. First logged 2026-07-25.
Addendum 198-A: Personnel are reminded that Safe classification describes containment difficulty, not triviality. Do not treat SCP-198 as uninteresting on this basis alone.
