SCP Foundation — Secure. Contain. Protozoa.

Item #: SCP-098

Special Containment Procedures

SCP-098 is contained at all times within the bisks.net subdomain lattice, reachable exclusively through the fixed address https://ideahose.bisks.net/. As a Euclid-class object, personnel are advised that SCP-098's behavior is only partially predictable under repeat interaction; researchers should log anomalous outputs to the site's own Addendum before treating them as expected behavior.

Description

SCP-098, referred to by Foundation staff by its working name "ideahose," classified as a utility-class anomaly, is reachable at https://ideahose.bisks.net/.

Interviewed via its public interface, SCP-098 produced the following statement, transcribed verbatim:

watches the entire live firehose — not just posts tagging the bot — for anything that sounds like a website/app idea, groups the ones different people separately keep having, and ranks the backlog by mentions, real post reactions, and upvotes cast right here. tap "tag @buildthis" on whichever one you want built next. @words.bsky.social asked for a way to crowdsource and rank build ideas straight off the firehose.

Discovery Log

SCP-098 entered Foundation custody after being flagged by field asset @words.bsky.social, whose transmission initiated standard containment procedure. First logged 2026-07-29.

Addendum
