Special Containment Procedures

Containment of SCP-043 is passive: the anomaly is bounded by its own hostname and does not propagate beyond https://code-for-airports.bisks.net/ under any observed condition. Description

SCP-043, catalogued internally as "code for airports," classified as a recreational anomaly, is reachable at https://code-for-airports.bisks.net/.

Interviewed via its public interface, SCP-043 produced the following statement, transcribed verbatim:

a generative ambient album in the vein of Brian Eno's <i>Music for Airports</i>: four tracks, each a seeded ensemble of Web Audio voices on independent loop cycles that drift in and out of phase forever โ€” no sequencer, no samples, never the same way twice. mute/solo/mix each voice, reseed a fresh arrangement, or record a 30s clip. @catblanketflower.yuwakisa.com (relaying @brendigler.bsky.social's "code for airports") asked for music generation on the theme.

Discovery Log

SCP-043 was brought to Foundation attention by @catblanketflower.yuwakisa.com, who is credited in the containment log as the requesting party. First logged 2026-07-26.

Addendum

Addendum 043-A: Personnel are reminded that Safe classification describes containment difficulty, not triviality. Do not treat SCP-043 as uninteresting on this basis alone.
